1. Project Management schedule set out for you

A project management schedule will be forwarded to you to set out time frames for the build.

2. Set Out

Steve will profile your new pool and mark out where the pool will be positioned

3. Excavation

Excavation is usually completed in one day which is always overseen by Steve.

4. Box and Steel

The following day, the formwork and steelwork starts in order to reinforce the structural shell.  Depending on the size, location and shape, this process can take up to 3 consecutive days.  During this stage, all internal plumbing and provision for lights are installed.

5. Concrete Shell

The following day the concrete shell is sprayed and shaped, which takes 3 to 6 hours.  The concrete shell will need time to cure before tiling commences.

6. Tiling

Once the concrete has cured, the shell copping and waterline (if applicable) will be rendered and tiled.  This process can take approximately 2 to 5 days.

7. Filtration

Install filtration and lights, which takes approximately 3 to 6 hours.

8. Fencing

The fence is required to be installed and certified before the pool is pebbled and filled with water.

9. Pebble

Pebble is applied once the fence is certified as it cannot be left exposed for more than 24 hours.  Pebble is installed in one day and acid washed the following prior to the pool being filled.

10. Start Up

Once the pool is filled, initial chemical treatment is performed and a handover is completed.

11. Warranty

Structural shell, internal lining and tiling have a 7 year warranty.

Filtration is a manufacturer’s warranty of approximately 3 years depending on products.

Lights are a manufacturer’s warranty of 1 year.

Average build time from excavation to completion is approximately 8 weeks.
